Custom Task Lists and Statuses allow you to assign claims to an active user associated with your account, assign a custom status to a claim, and quickly access a list of claims that have been assigned to you. Custom statuses and assigned tasks will display in the Status column on the Claim Status tab.

Assign a User or Task List Status
- Click on the Claim Status tab.
- Click the Show Assign Claims button.
After you click the Show Assign Claims button, drop-down menus for Assign User and Task List Status display next to a Save Task List Assignment button, and checkboxes display next to the patient names on the claims list. - Click the Assign User drop-down menu to select the user to assign to a claim.
NOTE: The Assign User drop-down menu displays all the active names and usernames associated with your account.
- Click the Task List Status drop-down menu to select the status to assign to a claim.
NOTE: Assigning a Task List Status will overwrite a claim's existing status in the Status column.
- Select the Checkboxes next to the claims for which you are assigning a User and/or Task List Status.
- Click the Save Task List Assignment button.
- The status column will display the assigned user and custom status.
View My Tasks
Use the My Tasks link to view a list of claims assigned to you. From here, you can manage your claims and have access to the same tools and history that you have on the list of all claims. You can also update the status and user assignment from here by clicking the Show Assign Claims button.
- Click the My Tasks link to open a list of claims assigned to you.
- Click the Back to Search link to display all claims.
Remove a User from a Claim or Reset Claim Status
- Click on the Claim Status Tab.
- Click the Show Assign Claims button.
- To remove a user, click the Assigned User drop-down and select No Assigned User.
- To reset the claim status, click the Task List Status drop-down and select No Status.
